The Warlock of Firetop Mountain: 37, 11: Diggy-Diggy Hole

Like a house music aficionado, you know "The Drill."

Huh... an interesting image. Really don't have a lot to comment here. It's interesting seeing all the tools floating around is interesting, but doesn't really capture the scene.

I suppose the angle on the stairs is baffling... I think I'm looking at stairs going down. The text confirms that, but it looks like the landing is at a 70 degree angle with the ground, going upwards. Just a perspective issue, but it's not great.

What, no orange cones?

I puzzle over the sign a moment. Quite an odd thing to write out. I lean round the corner to see the unfinished stairway.

My sword comes to my hand almost at once. Something awful might happen at any instance!

I lower my blade. It really is a lovely song. I join in for a few verses, but they just keep singing from the beginning. I ask if they can perhaps tell me anything about the Warlock, but they just keep singing.

Wow. I already wrecked my suspension of disbelief against the proverbial notion of Jesus in this world, but now I have to accept the song "Heigh-ho" being extant and well known in this world. A song not written until 1937. By Disney.

Okay... I'm going to say the song is just similar in this world. Not actually the same. You know...

Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho
It's off to work we go.
Away we'll slave
To dig our grave
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho

     Or something.

Well, North is more West than South. Er... wait, no...

I'm still going North. South is back towards the entrance, right?
