I stop a moment to let the sunlight burn across me. Then I continue on, before the daylight goes away again. Back and forth, head north only after I've covered the rest.

| Oh, the choices are overwhelming me! |
I must've scribbled the events of my last meeting on myself and had a wrestling match with the Iron Sheik, because I am a broken record, but what is even the point of this reference? Apparently after the Citadel of Chaos wowed us with APE-DOGs and DOG-APES and lots of scenes of strange and exciting action, Livingstone decided that the best follow up was a lot of bland descriptions of trees so gameplay could be consist primarily of tedious mapmaking.
I can't say it doesn't fit the theme of being lost in a wood, but when we're not allowed to go backwards I can't even get lost in a circle. If only some game wizard could conceive of a way to do that...
Oh, and East.

| Oh, no, grass! I... can't even work up a sarcastic quip to express how underwhelming this is. |
In the meantime, the plant nearly knocks me over with its energetic entangling of my legs.
Choice: Potion of Plant Control: 64
The potion tastes remarkably fresh and tingly. I was honestly expecting something a bit more earthy, or worse. I was also expecting maybe being able to control the plant, but every time I shout an order at it, it just retreats further. As though I were berating a naughty puppy.
Still, better than havin to clean whatever mess it would have left on my britches. I take my dash into the woods and hope this is the last botanical bounder I am to encounter.
I'm having trouble deciding how much I like the gear from Yaztromo. I don't get the feeling of 'have this or die' I got form some spells in Citadel of Chaos, which is good, but they also seem quite specific. Spells often gave you the option between multiple spells and non-spell options. The items... just you have them or you don't. Text isn't even presented like you can save them for later. Just, if you have, use. Less interactive, I suppose.
