I'm guessing this isn't going to be an underdog story about overcoming overwhelming adversity. Maybe we can throw in a few extra nukes just in case, though.
I assume the AstroNavy is the navy of a state called "Astro". Not only do I assume this, I will aggressively insist upon it. For the glory of Astro!

Photocopier? What space technobabble is this?
Same old, same old. Mind, this reference to finding my way back to Earth at least gives me some kind of goal.

Phaser is just a synonym for laser pistol, honest. It's not blatantly stolen from somewhere else...
Well, I'm open to the idea, though an easy rules reference in the front is in some ways simpler than hiding it elsewhere.

Ship here caught attempting the "Crazy Ivan".
Well, Shields are somewhat different from Stamina. You don't die when it hits 0, but after you're struck when it's already at 0.
So, Traveller, let's go:
Weapon Strength: 11
Shields: 13
Going to make a note here that Astro, and it's AstroNavy, clearly doesn't prize defense over raw undisputed firepower. They've made quite the nasty piece of work of Traveller. Going to get ready to blow things up and hope they don't get a chance to shoot back.

Rules tixt scrawling across the night sky of a distant world...
Captain Eronit Welk
Eronit Welk is an extremely tall creature with bright yellow skin and gray downy feathers. They are a competent Captain with more than twenty years of service in the AstroNavy. They went through Officer's school, and it's been a long time since they last practiced proper hand to hand combat. Still, even aged as they are the Cablixi's hardly a push over, able to withstand quite powerful blows with ease.
Science Officer Ranka Melink
Skill: 8
Stamina: 21
Ranka Melink was pretty low on the Navy's list of potential recruit's for Science Officer. But, after a series of PR disasters the top of the list declined in protest to the militaristic nature of Traveller. Renka Melink, however, had no problem at all with the weaponry of the starship. She'd designed most of it.
One of the Morok, Renka Melink is an aggressive predator, but not one who's actually had to live in the wild anytime soon. Large, overweight, under-qualified, and hairier than a rugby team trapped on a desert island for six years, Renka Melink approaches her work with the same enthusiastic aggression she rips apart her meals. And with roughly the same level of mess.
Medical Officer Pyriba
Skill: 11
Stamina: 18
Pyriba is svelte betentacled creature that looks like a thin membrane pulled over glowing mist. It's a calm and cheerful presence on the ship, delighted by pop culture and entertainment. It can be a bit aloof, seeing beings of pure matter as somehow unfinished.
Engineering Officer Malcolm "Yankee" Manstein
Skill: 12
Stamina: 19
The resident Earthling of the group, Manstein is a horse-sized beetle-like creature, born and raised in what was once New Jersey. Speaking with a thick North Eastern accent, he's an extremely dramatic bug, who has been around the block long enough to know humor's a better response to a bad situation than panic.
Security Officer Cynti Wylylyl
Skill: 9
Stamina: 14
Cynti Wylylyl is, like Captain Eronit, a long experienced member. Unfortunately, even though she's kept up her training, she isn't as spry or tough as she once was. Still, she's a good manager of the rest of the security forces, and takes her duty deadly seriously. She's heavily augmented these days, but the gray haired reptilian is still apparent under all the genetic alterations and cybernetic parts.
Also, it turns out a 9 beats both of the Security Guards.
Security Guard Bal
Skill: 8
Stamina: 19
Bal is a spry humanoid with blue skin and strange forehead ridges allegedly for heat sensing. Genderfluid and perpetually grumpy, Bal is just trying to survive his 5 year station and retire.
Security Guard Xyvok Smythe
Sill: 7
Stamina: 22
Xyvok is a Martian. Human, but born on Mars. Like most humans he's extremely hardy and resistant to shock, but not exactly terribly big or muscular. Xykov is bright eyed and excitable, glad to be out into space for the first time. He's had some gene edits, and can therefore photosynthesize. Hence the green skin.
Ah, no space wasted on keeping track of every fight here!

See! SEe! Our phasers are completely different!
So... with 12 Skill and 19 Stamina, Malcolm Manstein is actually my best fighter, surpassing both Security Guards in Skill and tying with Cynti.
What's with the black thing swirling round the future gun? The comet head and weird leg-like ridges on the line make me think it's some kind of energy based parasite.
Hm... I guess we all share Luck. Well, let's give it a...
Phooey.
I'm really hoping to do well with this game, because I'm excited about it. So each bad roll is rather disheartening. Still, it'll be fun. We can do this!
It's nice to not be out doing all the work alone. Obvious questions about why the Captain is going down at all spring to mind, but I'm a space hero of space, and there's no one here to stop me!
I appreciate the use of artwork here in the intro. Images here of space vistas and the ship are a very good way of setting mood and tone, rather than just walls of text.

Huston, we have an album cover.
Okay, no provisions, but we get Stamina back after a mission. Cool, that works.
It's really not great to put the change to 'Restoring Stamia" here instead of in the last section. Last section made it sound like if I lost Pyribia I was phenomenally doomed. This is much more mild doom.
It's great that replacements have automatically lower skill. Makes it feel like the best people are in charge, but it's going to be bad when Renka gets murdered and I end up with someone rolling a 6 Skill and hoping this internship will be the key to graduating with honors.

So... how are we dealing with spaghettification?
Yeah, this is all we get for the normal 'rumors' section. Jackson is not kidding about getting to the action.
Okay, we fell into a black hole like a bunch of... things near a black hole. And now we need to find another black hole to fall through that. Sure, the science is so soft it's mostly liquid, but it's a decent enough premise to go off exploring.
As to my seat on the bridge... it really needs more cushion...
